  • Why did Chevrolet quit making this van in AWD?!

I really like my All-Wheel Drive 2007 Chevy Express passenger van. It's been very handy when moving my kids around the country, take vacations, or towing. It's been very dependable, although after 12 years it's starting to show rust in the body and I've had one of the side doors replaced and painted after rust penetrated the exterior sheet metal. Headlight buckets and parking brake cable replaced due to rust/corrosion. This full sized AWD van is absolutely excellent in snow and blizzard conditions. I've had it in the rocky mountains going up/down mountain passes in terrible weather and it performs excellent. It's really a shame that Chevrolet quit making the Express in AWD after the 2014 model year. It gets around 15-16 mpg on the highway with the 5.3L V8 flex-fuel engine. (I would buy another one if I could)
